What is True Zero Tail Swing?
As the excavator is operated, the counterweight never exceeds the width of the undercarriage. Thus allowing you to work in some of the most confined areas without obstruction or damage.

What is the parts availability for the Yanmar products?
At Fred Holmes we carry an extensive line of parts and our service shop has the facilities for most repairs and service. The main Yanmar parts facility is centrally located in Buffalo Grove, IL., just west of Chicago where there is maintained a 90% parts fill rate.

What other types of equipment are offered?
We offer two articulating wheel loaders. The V3-5, 6472 lbs. ( 0.52 cu.yd. ) and the V4-5, 7367 lbs. ( 0.65 cu.yd.).. Future models includes the B08 mini-excavator, 2043 lbs., and the C50R-2 crawler dump carrier, 10,141 lbs., (76.6 cu.ft., heaped capacity).

Can I change my undercarriage from rubber tracks to steel?
Yes you can. The only additional items that are necessary to replace are the idler assemblies with the proper flange height.

When I've used mini-excavators in the past, I felt that the operator station was very cramped, restrictive and uncomfortable. Has Yanmar done anything to remedy this problem?
The operator compartment on the new Global ViO Series is not only larger than the current zero tail swing machines, but larger than the conventional type mini-excavator as well. Large foot space and suspension seat make these models truly operator friendly.
